Guests have ended up at Rio Scenarium in Lapa (about a 20-minute drive, one says) and at the Monday samba at Pedra do Sal. Your instructor stays with you for 3 hours at the club.
Drinks and food are bought at the venue, and the ride home after the club is on you. Wear comfortable clothes, and leave heels and jewellery behind, above all for the Monday street party. There are no nights on Tuesday or Sunday.
